EXTREMITY 5 GAMES 2010

The Extremity Games 5 for athletes living with limb loss or limb differences were held June 18th & 19th 2010 at the Texas Ski Ranch in New Braunfels. Competitions and instructional clinics included skateboarding, rock climbing, wake boarding and kayaking. Exhibitions included mixed martial arts.

OPT staff members were there providing support. We had several of our amputee clients there for instructional clinics. The competitive athletes were an inspiration to all of us and just magnificent to watch the strength and stamina that they have. It was a great experience for all of us at OPT.

OPT volunteered to have our Mobile Lab at the games. Our Technicians, Kevin and Sean, made minor adjustments to several of the athletes prostheses.
